For Community Partners

When You Partner With Us, You're Not Handing Someone
Off.

Access Foundation works alongside employers, treatment providers, courts, social services, and community organizations to build the web of support that makes lasting recovery possible. Real partnership means we stay in the work together — long after the referral is made.
You’re not just handing someone off to another program. You’re gaining a committed partner invested in long-term outcomes — with the capacity and stability to navigate individuals on the arc of recovery transformation.
What Makes the Difference

314 Days. Not 30. That's Why Our Partnerships Work.

The reason most referrals to recovery programs don’t stick isn’t the people — it’s the timeline. Thirty days isn’t enough to rebuild a life. Access Foundation’s average residency of 314 days gives our partnerships the time they need to actually produce lasting results.

When a court refers a client, a treatment center discharges a patient, or an employer considers hiring someone in recovery, the outcomes depend almost entirely on what happens in the weeks and months that follow. Access Foundation was built to fill exactly that gap.

Our extended time horizon is not a bureaucratic feature — it is the mechanism through which every other outcome becomes possible. Employment requires stability. Family reunification requires sustained demonstration of change. Trust requires time. Identity reconstruction requires a stable environment and consistent support across months, not weeks.

Research in our own data confirms this: people who rebuild diverse social networks — not just recovery-focused ones — are five times more likely to report life satisfaction two years after leaving treatment. Our 314-day model provides the time to build those networks. Your partnership provides the connections that make them possible.

We Partner With the People and Organizations
Already Doing the Work

Access Foundation is designed to complement and amplify the work of the broader recovery ecosystem in southern Utah. We’re not
competing for cases — we’re building the infrastructure that makes everyone’s work more effective.

Courts & Probation/Parole

When your system identifies someone who needs structured recovery support, we’re equipped to receive them — and to keep you informed about their progress. Our 13% recidivism rate means that clients referred to us are dramatically less likely to return to your docket.

  • Court-compliant progress documentation
  • Legal status coordination and support
  • Probation and parole compliance assistance
  • Regular case status communication
  • Structured accountability within recovery

Treatment Providers & Clinicians

Clinical treatment addresses the acute phase. We provide the extended stable environment where the work of treatment can take root. Many of our residents come to us directly from inpatient or outpatient treatment programs — and our structured environment ensures their clinical gains are preserved, not lost.

  • Warm handoffs from inpatient/residential discharge
  • Coordination with ongoing outpatient care
  • Medication-assisted treatment support
  • Mental health treatment access facilitation
  • Clinical progress information sharing (with consent)

  • Prescreened, motivated candidates
  • Employment preparation across multiple domains

Child Welfare & DCFS

Family separation is one of addiction’s most devastating consequences. We work directly with DCFS and child welfare professionals to support parents in achieving and maintaining the stability required for family reunification — preserving families whenever possible, breaking generational cycles always.

  • Parenting skills and trauma-informed care
  • DCFS compliance documentation support
  • Supervised visitation facilitation
  • Family reunification milestone tracking
  • Long-term family stability monitoring

Social Services & Case Managers

When your clients need more than what your program can offer — stable housing, structured accountability, long-term support — we’re the partner who can take the next step with them. We coordinate across services to ensure no one falls through the gaps.

  • Benefits enrollment and navigation support
  • Documentation assistance (ID, SSN, license)
  • Healthcare access coordination
  • Cross-agency case collaboration
  • Warm referral and intake coordination

Community & Faith Organizations

Recovery happens in community, not in isolation. We partner with faith communities, civic organizations, and community groups to build the social network connections that science shows are most predictive of long-term recovery success. You know your community; we know recovery.

  • Prosocial activity connections
  • Volunteer and mentorship opportunities
  • Community reintegration support
  • Recovery-supportive environment development
  • Alumni engagement pathways

Why 314 Days Changes Everything
for Your Clients

Most programs offer a chapter. Access Foundation offers the whole story. Our extended residency model isn’t just longer — it’s structured to move residents through the distinct phases of life reconstruction that produce durable change.

The identity shift that defines genuine recovery doesn’t happen in 30 days. Research shows that the progression from “I’m an addict in recovery” to “I’m a person who happens to be in recovery” takes months — and that the social network transformation required for sustained life satisfaction takes longer still.

For partners who refer clients, hire residents, or collaborate on services, this timeline matters because it means we can actually be there for the hard parts — the plateaus, the setbacks, the moments when a person almost gives up before they break through.

Foundation Building

Weak ties form through shared activities and consistent interaction. Community begins to develop within the residential environment.

Identifying Real Connections

Residents begin recognizing which relationships are becoming genuine. More meaningful connections form with staff, peers, and community members.

Reciprocal Relationships

Residents who develop reciprocal relationships — giving support, not just receiving it — show dramatically different long-term trajectories. This shift is the pivot point of recovery.

Community Integration

Diverse networks form beyond the recovery community. Residents begin belonging to workplaces, neighborhoods, and relationships where they are known for who they are becoming.

The day I realized my recovery mattered because I was teaching my nephew to ride a bike not because I had X days clean that’s when everything changed.

Getting Started

Three Ways to Begin a Partnership

Whether you want to refer a client, hire a resident, or formally collaborate on programming, the path to partnership is straightforward. We’ll work with you to find the right fit for your organization and the people you serve.

Path 1
Refer a Client
If you work with individuals in the criminal justice system, healthcare, social services, or treatment, and have someone who needs structured, long-term recovery housing and support, we want to hear from you. Our intake team will work with you to assess fit and coordinate a smooth transition. We welcome referrals from courts, probation officers, treatment centers, hospitals, DCFS caseworkers, and others.

Path 2
Hire a Resident
If your organization is looking for motivated, prepared workers
who come with built-in accountability and support systems, talk to us about our employer partnership program. We’ll match you
with residents whose skills and interests align with your hiring needs, handle pre-employment coordination, and support the working relationship for the duration of residency and beyond.

Path 3
Collaborate on Services
If your organization provides clinical services, vocational training, legal aid, family support, or other programming that complements our model, we’re interested in exploring a formal collaboration. Access Foundation believes the recovery ecosystem is stronger when its parts work together — and we actively seek partnerships that expand what’s possible for the people we serve.
Our Commitment to Partner Communication
We understand that when you refer a client or collaborate with us, your reputation is partly on the line too. We take that seriously. Partner organizations can expect consistent communication, honest updates, and a genuine collaborative relationship — not just a referral acknowledgment and radio silence. We’re in this with you for the long arc of each person’s recovery journey.
The Recovery Ecosystem

Recovery Doesn't Happen
in Isolation. Neither
vDoes Our Work.

Access Foundation is one part of a larger recovery ecosystem in southern Utah. We see our role not as the complete solution, but as the stable, long-term hub that connects individuals to the full web of community resources they need.

The science of recovery is clear: people who rebuild diverse community connections — not just recovery-support networks — are far more likely to sustain lasting change. That means our partnerships with employers, faith communities, educational institutions, and neighborhood organizations are not supplemental to our model. They are essential to it.

Every referral you make, every job you offer, every service you provide in coordination with Access Foundation adds a thread to the social fabric that holds a person’s recovery together. That fabric is built one relationship at a time — which is why the extended timeline of our program matters so much. We have the time to actually weave it.

Partners who work with us regularly tell us the same thing: their clients do better when Access Foundation is in the picture. Not because we do the work for them, but because we provide the stable platform from which everything else becomes possible.
